Rulemaking Annual Reports

The annual report details all of the rulemaking for each agency within LDH submitted to the Louisiana Register during the 2021 calendar year. There are six agencies that fall within LDH: Bureau of Health Services Financing (BHSF) a/k/a “Medicaid”; Health Standards Section (HSS); Office of Aging and Adult Services (OAAS); Office of Behavioral Health (OBH); Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities (OCDD); Office of Public Health (OPH), including the Bureau of Engineering Services, which is under the direction of the State Health Officer.

Annually, the Department of Health and Hospitals, Office of Behavioral Health is required to prepare an annual report of all administrative rulemaking procedures taken over the past year and submit the report to the House Committee on Health and Welfare and the Senate Committee on Health and Welfare.

In accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act [R.S. 49:968(K)], the Louisiana Department of Health, Office of Aging and Adult Services (OAAS) is required to prepare an annual report of all OAAS administrative rulemaking procedures taken over the past calendar year. The report found here summarizes OAAS’ rulemaking actions taken in the 2017 calendar year, including Notices of Intent, Emergency Rules, Final Rules and Oversight Reports. 2016 Rulemaking (Louisiana Administrative Code) Report DHH Office of Public Health

Annually, the Department of Health and Hospitals, Bureau of Health Services Financing is required to prepare an annual report of all administrative rulemaking procedures taken over the past year and submit the report to the House Committee on Health and Welfare and the Senate Committee on Health and Welfare.

In accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act [R.S. 49:968(K)], as amended, OAAS has submitted to the appropriate standing committees of the legislature and the presiding officers of the respective houses its 2014 Annual Legislative Rulemaking Report of the DHH-Office of Aging and Adult Services. This report summarizes OAAS’ rulemaking actions taken in the 2014 calendar year, including Notices of Intent, Emergency Rules, Final Rules and Oversight Reports.
