  Inpatient Hospital Services - Public-Private Partnerships - Reimbursement Methodology (LAC 50:V.1703)

  Continues the provisions of the April 15, 2013 and July 20, 2013 Emergency Rules which amended the provisions governing the reimbursement methodology for inpatient services provided by non-state owned major teaching hospitals participating in public-private partnerships which assume the provision of services that were previously delivered and terminated or reduced by a state-owned and operated facility to establish an interim per diem reimbursement.

  2nd Quarter LDH Litigation Disclosure Report - FY2016

  The enclosed quarterly report is being produced as required by Act No. 204 (2014 Reg. Session) and covers civil actions initiated by the Department of Health and Hospitals on behalf of the agency and the State of Louisiana during June 1, 2015 - August 31, 2015.

  Medical Transportation Program - Non-Emergency Medical Transportation LAC 50:XXVII:Chapter 5

  Amends the provisions of the October 1, 2014 Emergency Rule governing the reimbursement methodology for non-emergency medical transportation in order to clarify these provisions, and to bring the language of this Rule into compliance with the approved State Plan.

  December 2015 Final Rules

  The Department of Health and Hospitals, Bureau of Health Services Financing has submitted Final Rules to the Office of the State Register for publication in the December 20, 2015 edition of the Louisiana Register in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act, R.S. 49:950 et seq. Prior submissions are available in the archives.

  Medical Transportation Program - Emergency Aircraft Transportation - Rotor Winged Ambulance Services Rate Increase LAC 50:XXVII.353

  Continues the provisions of the September 1, 2014 Emergency Rule which amended the provisions governing reimbursement for emergency medical aircraft transportation in order to increase the rates for services originating in rural areas.

  Nursing Facilities - Licensing Standards LAC 48:I.9704, 9707, and Chapter 99

  Continues the provisions of the May 20, 2014 Emergency Rule which amended the licensing standards governing nursing facilities in order to clarify the provisions for Alzheimer’s special care disclosure, and to revise the provisions governing approval of plans and physical environment.

  Disproportionate Share Hospital Payments - Louisiana Low-Income Academic Hospitals LAC 50:V.2903 and Chapter 31

  Continues the provisions of the September 20, 2014 Emergency Rule which amended the provisions of the May 24, 2014 Emergency Rule to clarify the provisions governing the payment methodology to Louisiana Low-Income Academic Hospitals.

  Medicaid Eligibility - Medically Needy Program - Behavioral Health Services LAC 50:III.2313

  Continues the provisions of the September 20, 2015 Emergency Rule which amended the provisions of the January 20, 2014 and August 20, 2015 Emergency Rules, which repromulgated and revised provisions governing the Medically Needy Program in a codified format for inclusion in the Louisiana Administrative Code, in order to further clarify the provisions governing allowable medical expenses for Spend-Down MNP coverage.

  Inpatient Hospital Services – Non-Rural, Non-State Hospitals - Reinstatement of Additional Payments for Hemophilia Blood Products LAC 50:V.965

  Continues the provisions of the July 1, 2015 Emergency Rule which amended the provisions governing reimbursement for inpatient hospital services in order to reinstate reimbursements for costs incurred in the purchase of blood products for certain Medicaid recipients diagnosed with, and receiving inpatient treatment for, hemophilia.

  Inpatient Hospital Services - Public-Private Partnerships - Supplemental Payments LAC 50:V.Chapter 17

  Continues the provisions of the November 1, 2012 Emergency Rule which amended the provisions governing inpatient hospital services to establish supplemental Medicaid payments to non-state (private) owned hospitals in order to encourage them to take over the operation and management of state-owned and operated hospitals that have terminated or reduced services.

  Direct Service Worker Registry LAC 48:I.Chapter 92

  Amends the provisions governing the Direct Service Worker (DSW) Registry in order to revise and clarify these provisions to align the DSW Registry Rule with R.S. 40:2179-40:2179.1.
