A representative from the Ascension Parish Medicaid office will be available at the Swamp Pop Music Festival/Lamar Dixon on July 17, 2010 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm to distribute applications and answer questions concerning LaCHIP and other medicaid programs. The festival is bennefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Festivities include Jambalaya Association Cook-Off, Poker Run & Pageant and "Swamp Pop" music.
