The Louisiana Department of Health is holding a flu vaccination clinic in Lake Charles from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. November 8. This one-day clinic will make it easy for people protect themselves from the flu by getting a flu shot at no cost.

These one-day clinics will allow people to come in and get a flu shot at no cost to the patient. Last year in Louisiana, there were more than 14,000 hospitalizations, and more than 1,400 deaths attributed to the flu.
