Does your Medicaid health plan still meet your needs?

The wait is over! Louisiana Medicaid members can change their health plans up to two times during the calendar year. Anytime, for any reason.
In 2026, this period will run from March 1 through December 31.
988 Lifeline

Sometimes it can feel like drinking or drugs are starting to control you. You don't have to face those feelings alone.
When you call, text or chat online with 988, the 988 specialist you're connected to will listen without judgment and help you reduce the intense feelings you may be dealing with.
Your 988 specialist can also connect you to local resources and longer-term support (like therapists or drug or alcohol recovery services).

National Fentanyl Awareness Day

Opiod and synthetic opiods like fentanyl are highly addictive and can be deadly. Protect yourself and your loved ones by knowing how to prevent an overdose.
Naloxone, also known by the brand name Narcan®, is a prescription medicine that can be used on someone for the treatment of a known or suspected opioid overdose. In Louisiana, naloxone is available to anyone without a prescription at local pharmacies.
