Louisiana Medicaid Work Requirements

Notification about Louisiana Medicaid work requirements against a light blue background. At the top, there is a dark blue rectangular banner containing the text "Get the facts" written in white. Below the banner, bold black text states "Louisiana Medicaid work requirements." A detailed explanation follows in smaller black text, describing policy changes effective January 1, 2027, which necessitates reporting of work or community engagement activities by some adult Medicaid members to retain coverage. To the right of this text block is a solid blue square with a white check mark inside. At the bottom of the image, the logo of Louisiana Medicaid is displayed in black.

Some Medicaid members will have new federally mandated work requirements beginning January 1, 2027.

Medicaid will send letters to affected members when they need to take action or provide information. Members should be sure to keep their contact information up to date with Louisiana Medicaid so they do not miss these important updates.
