May 29, 2014 RFI – Qualified Health Professionals to Conduct Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, May 29, 2014 - The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals’ Bureau of Health Services Financing  is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for the purpose of seeking information from Qualified Health Care Professionals (QHCP) regarding their willingness and availability to provide Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations (CD/DE), to Louisiana Medicaid enrollees under age 21. QHCPs should have sufficient qualification and experience to conduct and document the CDE/DE, and to develop initial recommendations for a multidisciplinary treatment plan, including recommendations relative to clinical indications for Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based treatments for Autism Spectrum Disorder, related and comorbid disorders.
