The Louisiana Department of Health’s Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities will be holding a meeting this coming Tuesday in Lafayette to provide updates on the Value-Based Payment model.
This meeting will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. October 22 at Clifton Chenier Auditorium, 220 W. Willow St. All self-advocates, family members, support coordinator/provider agencies, human services district/authority staff and the general public served by the Acadiana Area Human Services District are welcome to attend. For special accommodations, please contact Jacquelyne Cobb at (225) 342-0095 or Jacquelyne.Cobb@la.gov.
Assistant Secretary Julie Foster Hagan and staff will provide updates on the pilot project for Value-Based Payments for Home and Community Based Waiver providers. The Value-Based Payments approach allows providers to receive supplemental payments if they reach certain quality-of-care benchmarks. This project is supported through a grant from CMS’s Medicaid Innovation Accelerator Program.
The meeting in Lafayette is part of a larger series of meetings being held this month throughout the state by the Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities.
