Baton Rouge, Louisiana, May 23, 2022 - LDH to host panel discussion on efforts to increase diversity in the healthcare workforce

With a goal of increasing the diversity in Louisiana’s healthcare workforce, the Louisiana Department of Health, LDH, is hosting a panel discussion with leading healthcare experts.

The discussion addresses the need to recruit, train and retain a more diverse healthcare workforce that meets the needs of the patient population that, today, is more diverse than those who provide care.
