January 23, 2026 LDH - OAAS & OCDD release Request for Information (RFI) for Support Coordination for Home and Community Based ServicesResponses are due back by 4:30 PM on March 6, 2026
Baton Rouge, Louisiana, - The Louisiana Department of Health will soon release a Request for Information (RFI) regarding Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waiver Support Coordination delivery across the state of Louisiana. The RFI will be posted on LAPAC.
The RFI invites input from Support Coordination Agencies (SCAs), providers, community organizations, other stakeholders, and individuals/families to help LDH:
- Identify opportunities and barriers within the current support coordination delivery system;
- Explore strategies to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness in support coordination delivery;
- Gather insight on improving recruitment and retaining staff; and
- Gain awareness of beneficial practices and opportunities from other support coordination models.
This is an information gathering request and in no way obligates LDH to take any action. Responses to the RFI must be submitted within 45 calendar days of publication. LDH will review all submissions and consider all feedback received.
