The Louisiana Army National Guard's COVID-19 testing site at the Calcasieu Parish Health Unit has moved to the Lake Charles Civic Center, 900 Lakeshore Drive. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday until further notice, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. December 23 and December 30.
Continues the provisions of the August 25, 2020 Emergency Rule which amended the provisions governing reimbursement for non-state intermediate care facilities for persons with intellectual disabilities in order to increase the rate reimbursement rates to facilities that downsized from over 100 beds to less than 35 beds prior to December 31, 2010 without the benefit of a cooperative endeavor agreement, in compliance with Act 1 of the 2020 First Extraordinary Session of the Louisiana Legislature.

The Governor's updated Phase 2 proclamation, which is slightly modified from the summer, takes effect on Wednesday, November 25. Louisiana will stay in Phase 3 and keep its current COVID-19 mitigation measures in place for another 28 days, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced Thursday. The Governor's Phase 3 order was set to expire Friday, and he has extended it until Friday, December 4, 2020.
