April 29, 2025 Louisiana Medicaid Revalidation Reminder for Providers
Baton Rouge, Louisiana, - All Medicaid-enrolled providers must revalidate their enrollment information every five years. However, durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies providers must revalidate every three years to maintain participation in Louisiana Medicaid.
Revalidation includes risk-based screening, possible site visits, fingerprint background checks and required disclosures. Notices are sent via email from the Louisiana Medicaid Provider Enrollment web portal and the U.S. Postal Service when it is time for a provider to revalidate enrollment. Providers can also check their revalidation due date and status using the Provider Lookup Tool.
Failure to revalidate by the due date may lead to claim denials and deactivation of billing privileges. For assistance, contact Gainwell Technologies at [email protected] or 1-833-641-2140.
