- The Louisiana Department of Health's (LDH) Office of Public Health (OPH), in collaboration with the Southern University Foundation, will hold a health and community wellness fair on Saturday, March 22, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Horace W. There will also be wellness breakout sessions, voter registration, and various wellness activities.

This event also features a youth expo for middle- to high-school-age youth. Activities include a youth medical presentation by Dr. Ron Andrews, a medical spelling bee, a healthy food demonstration, and health assessments.

The health fair is free to attend. Attendees may preregister for the health fair at wellaheadla.com/health-fair-registration.
