Amends the provisions governing provider fees for emergency ground ambulance services in order to ensure that the administrative Rule reflects the transition from the Full Medicaid Pricing program to an approved federal supplemental payment program, in compliance with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requirements.

The Louisiana Department of Health's (LDH) Office of Public Health (OPH) Region 9 (Northshore) will hold an open house on April 26 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In recognition of April's designation as STI Awareness Month, OPH encourages community members to receive confidential testing and education on sexually transmitted infections.
Services available at the health fair include opioid and opioid prevention education; information on Medicaid renewals; sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment; and COVID-19 vaccines or boosters, and flu and monkeypox vaccines.
This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal, application, or proposal abstract. This RFI does not commit the State to contract for any supplies or services or make a grant award. Further, the State is not seeking proposals through this RFI and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Continues the provisions of the October 20, 2021 Emergency Rule which amended Title 50 of the Louisiana Administrative Code in order to continue the provisions of the Emergency Rule adopted on June 24, 2020 throughout the duration of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency declaration.
The Louisiana Department of Health, Bureau of Health Services Financing has submitted Final Rules to the Office of the State Register for publication in the April 20, 2023 edition of the Louisiana Register in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act, R.S. 49:950 et seq.
Amends the provisions governing financial eligibility for Medicaid in order to disregard resources accumulated from March 18, 2020 through March 31, 2023 that, but for the continuous enrollment provision at Section 60008(b)(3) of the Families First Coronavirus Act, would have been paid toward the cost of a beneficiary’s home and community-based services waiver or institutional services.
Amends the provisions governing Medicaid eligibility groups and programs in order to remove the requirement that an applicant be ineligible for other Medicaid services before being considered for the Act 421 Children’s Medicaid Option and to revise language regarding level of care.
