Repeals inpatient hospital services rules which were promulgated prior to implementation of the Louisiana Administrative Code codification system as it has been determined that the provisions are obsolete and should be repealed.

Dental Benefits Prepaid Ambulatory Health Plan LAC 50:I.2101 and 2105
Amends the provisions governing the dental benefits prepaid ambulatory health plan in order to allow Medicaid beneficiaries age 21 or older who reside in intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to receive dental services administered by a dental benefits plan manager.

Home Health Program – American Rescue Plan Act Funding (LAC 50:XIII.Chapter 8)
Adopts provisions in the Home Health Program in order to establish recruitment and retention payments for nurses that provide extended home health services to beneficiaries under the age of 21 who are in a Medicaid waiver program.

Humana Healthy Horizons members must show both their Healthy Louisiana Medicaid ID card and their Humana Healthy Horizons plan ID card for pharmacy services, including prescriptions.

Medicaid Eligibility – Resource Disregards (LAC 50:III.10705)
Amends the provisions governing financial eligibility in the Medical Assistance Program in order to disregard unspent funds received as a class member pursuant to a class settlement in the case of Nancy Anderson, et al. v. Bob Dean Jr., et al., 24th Judicial District Court, Parish of Jefferson, No. 820-839 from resources.

CMS CHIP Annual Reports
Section 2108(a) and Section 2108(e) of the Social Security Act (the Act) provide that each state and territory must assess the operation of its state child health plan in each federal fiscal year and report to the Secretary, by January 1 following the end of the federal fiscal year, on the results of the assessment. In addition, this section of the Act provides that the state must assess the progress made in reducing the number of uncovered, low-income children.

Louisiana STI/HIV and LAHAP Annual Report Archive
STI and HIV infection in Louisiana require responsive interventions to decrease new infections, slow HIV disease progression, increase individual awareness of STI and HIV status, and help ensure access to medical care for persons who have HIV or need treatment for an STI. The 2013 STI/HIV Program Report provides a thorough surveillance profile, as well as descriptions of the state’s prevention, counseling and testing, care, services, housing, and evaluation programs.
