The UnitedHealthcare health plan will no longer be available to Medicaid members beginning April 1, 2026.
Current UnitedHealthcare members will have a special enrollment period from January 15, 2026, to February 15, 2026. During this time UnitedHealthcare members can choose their new health plan. If UnitedHealthcare members take no action, Louisiana Medicaid will assign you to a new health plan.

HPV and Pap screening tests help prevent cervical cancer and detect it early when it's easier to treat. Women can lower their risk by getting screened regularly, starting at age 21.
Through the Louisiana Breast and Cervical Health Program (LBCHP), women receive no-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings and patient navigation services.
