Employment Awareness Month National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is held each October to commemorate the many and varied contributions of people with disabilities to America’s workplaces and economy. This year’s theme is, “America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion,” reflects the importance of ensuring that people with disabilities have full access to employment and community involvement.
HCBS Transition Plan Learn more about the proposed regulation changes for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) setting transition plan, which are aimed at improving integration and access.
Waiver Services OCDD offers a number of community-based services and supports, which allow Louisiana citizens with disabilities to have greater flexibility to choose where they want to live, and the waiver services and supports that best suit their needs.
National Core Indicators This survey helps to give OCDD further insight on how to continue efforts to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
