THSCI Program Louisiana’s THSCI Program provided services in a flexible, individualized manner to Louisiana citizens with traumatic head or spinal cord injuries.
PSH The Louisiana Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program links affordable rental housing with voluntary, flexible, and individualized services to people with severe and complex disabilities, enabling them to live successfully in the community.
PACE Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a program for older people which provides all needed services so that they can continue to live in the community. Currently there are 3 PACE centers: Baton Rouge, Greater New Orleans and Lafayette. PACE’s emphasis is on enabling senior citizens to remain in their communities while enhancing their quality of life.
Adult Protective Services Louisiana mandates the reporting of abuse of adults with disabilities. There are no civil or criminal penalties for any person who makes a report in good faith. The APS Law also protects reporters against retaliation. Don’t assume that someone else will make the call. Report adult abuse, neglect, or exploitation at 1.800.898.4910.
